Woke up this morning on a plane on the way to London. Sat next to a very nice British guy named Ben. He had just graduated from university in Texas and was going back to Nottingham to visit his brother. We talked for several hours and he gave me some good traveling tips! When I say that I always meet the nicest people, that’s not a lie.
Heathrow is built like a maze. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see a lot of London, but I did see the traditional London fog. Slept the entire way on the flight from London to Paris. In Paris, Mrs. Dr. Henry and I saw some tennis players in the airport (probably going home after early losses in the French Open)! We also had some genuine French macaroons, which were some of the best things I’ve ever put into my mouth.
We are now getting ready to board our flight to Istanbul. By the time you hear from me again, I should be in Turkey with many more stories to tell!
